More S/S 2010 RTW favorites / shoe lust / stuff lust list:
Hermès
Tennis is the inspiration, but not the game.

Is Gautier reading Street Carnage/Vice and heeding the message that men secretly love black socks & high heels? Is that true? Dudes are so funny.
Valentino
WOW. I think I’ve dreamed of owning shoes like these.

Not sure if the former-accessories-only-designer-duo Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli created a strong overall collection, but their expertise in accessories is evident.

This bag!

Karl Lagerfeld
Not sure about the heel shape, but I desire this silver version greatly:

Love these gloves.
Chanel

I LOVE the chain-design temp-tattoos the models sported on their legs and wrists.
To be honest, I didn’t like most of the Chanel collection this season. Not a fan of the Mule-clog-heel. Ergh.
Giambattista Valli

Dragon lady.
I think this skirt can be DIY-ed. Project!

Thakoon

It’s like an island version of Givenchy shoe styles. Not sure of the material, but those cage-bindings look like dyed raffia or super-soft leather.
Speaking of:
Givenchy

Tisci is a man of my spirit, that’s for sure. Goth wedge stompers = redux.
Alright, let’s stop fucking around. Let’s talk about…
ALEXANDER MCQUEEN
Who blew everyone’s brains out this season:

PERFECTLY INSAAAANE
The prints in this collection were mind-blowing – this level of detailing is sadly absent these days.

These are more wearable. Promise.
Love that flat-cap toe that McQueen revisited.

Love the jewelry too:

McQueen’s choice to put prosthetics on his model’s faces is truly entertaining. Can’t hate a designer who wholly commits to his inspirations and the fantasy of the clothing collection.

And now let’s hate on something:
NO. Sorry, but no. NO NO NO LOUIS VUITTON

KILL MY EYES, BARF.
I get it, LV can be so EDGY for some. Sigh. It’s just ugly to me.

Love the shoes but am totally horrified about the toe overhang…especially the black socked toe. Gives me the willies!
yeah, it’s SO GROSS!! I love/hate how style.com does not fix the funky feet of models. Seriously, there are some scary things in there. I learned to look around those details. Sort of. Thanks for reading btw!
