Mad Men is heralded for its immaculate, American mid-century style by…everyone. Everyone!

Because…well. Look at these sets. Gorgeous. Meticulously constructed.

Now that the beloved Ad men have moved on and into the Time-Life building in Season 4, most of the old digs have been left behind.

Divorce, mergers, conceiving a new company – these are all clever ways to re-invent a show and its production design.

Before all sets were scrapped, they were heavily photographed, of course. Here’s a collection of great set stills from Seasons 1 to 3.

I grabbed a lot of stills from the Mad Men eBay auction for the City of Hope, which is now closed.

Too bad – it would’ve been great to own a chair from Paul Kinsey’s office!
