Conquistadors Who Took Their Share

One of the best moments of my life, so far:

Nine Inch Nails

“Dead Souls” (Joy Division cover), originally on THE CROW soundtrack

Wave Goodbye Tour 2009

The Echoplex, Los Angeles, September 6, 2009.

TR even fumbles the intro, which makes it endearing [to me].

[edit: As I suspected at the show, it seems like TR is about to start “Atmosphere” by Joy Division, then fumbles and changes his mind. He played it at the Henry Fonda Theater and Wiltern Theater shows. Lucky bitches.]

I screamed “OMG OMG OMG”, which, thankfully, can’t be heard here at all.

I had a wish in high school to see this song performed live.

Thanks for the memories, Nine Inch Nails.
